Still More Randomness...

I am on a randomness roll....I guess Kim's blog tag with the randomness theme inspired me or I'm being obsessive compulsive or I just need to create randomness, is that an oxymoron? Can you create randomess? Who cares?
There isn't always rhyme or reason to what's inside our subconscious....it is in there and it has to come out. Getting deep...LOL!
Here is Randomness 2

More on Randomness...

On my previous post TAG....You are IT! I was tagged by Kim from Monaco Designs. The theme was randomness. We were to list 6 random things about ourselves and tag six other people on their blogs and ask them to do the same. I tried not to give this too much thought and picked things that popped into my mind. Of course, while participating in the "GAME OF TAG" I was pondering what randomness means. Being a creative person, one of the best ways to express myself is through my art. My pondering led to the creation of a series aptly titled Randomness. The first in the series "Randomness 1" is shown above. It is a digital painting and will probably end up on a canvas as a giclee.

More on inspiration.....

This is a continuance on inspiration. Today I've been inspired by music, many different kinds. I am listening to my top rated category in my iTunes while I do work on my computer. The eclectic blend is really rejuvenating, for my creativity and my spirit. There seem to be many ways to get inspired. Music, poetry, nature, art....yes, even artists need to view art, other than their own to get inspired.....

I just went to the Artists Of Cleveland website and saw some work by several local artists and sure enough I received some inspiration, and I am also thinking of joining, seems like a valuable resource. Another valuable resource for inspiration is our wonderful world renowned Cleveland Museum of Art. Even though the museum is under renovation and their permanent collections are temporarily closed, you can still visit for special exhibitions. Check their website for schedules of upcoming exhibits.

Inspiration

"When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds; Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be." Patanjali (First to Third Century B.C.) The author of Yoga Sutras. Patanjali resided in India and is thought to be the person who established the tradition of meditation.
