The weekend before last we went to Catawba Point. It rained Friday and half of Saturday, then finally the rain stopped and the rest of the weekend wasn't too bad. We had a beautiful view of the lake and there was even a half way decent sunset. I got a few shots of the sunset and as I was heading back I noticed that this ornate iron parkbench was really lit nice by the setting sun. This is one of the shots I took of it. It was so peaceful being there with just the sound of the waves rolling in.
